Welcome to the best resource in Grey and Bruce County to find out everything you need to know about local food. We hope that you use this directory to source some new local farmers, locate one of the farmers markets or find a restaurant that serves locally grown cuisine.

You can search our directory by any of the following:

• Use the handy Locator Map (We're currently updating this tool, check back soon!)
• Product (i.e. "Apples") Products are listed by Traditional, Natural and Organic.
• Town (i.e. "Owen Sound")
• Producer, listed by town (i.e. "Grandma Lambe's")

If you know the name of the business you are searching for, use the "Find It" function at the top right of this page. You need only type in part of the business name.

The 2009/10 Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary map, featuring over 130 local food producers & processors is widely available across the region.

Interested in marketing some, or more, of your food production through the local food system?

The 2010 Grey Bruce Local Food Project is partnering with OMAFRA, the Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Association and the Grey and Bruce Federations of Agriculture to deliver a number of programs to assist farmers in directing some or all of their production into the local food system.

Programs include:

• Producer Marketing Program 
• Farmers' Market Network
• Seasonal Produce Promotions: Let us know if you have seasonal products you would like help promoting locally. We have two promotional tools available- a "Fresh From Local Farms" rack card and the "Buy Local Buy Fresh Grey Bruce" poster; both have room for you to add information.
• Institutional Sector Pilot Project
• Grey Bruce Food Summit: 2nd Annual event for the folks involved with local food. To be held on Monday November 8, 2010 in Owen Sound; this event is by invitation.
